Lauren Zinder is a second-year mechanical engineering student at the University of Wyoming and an engineering intern for Magpul Industries Corp. She is the Vice President of the Wyoming Precision Shooting Club.
The University of Wyoming Precision Shooting Club has begun selling tickets for its annual raffle. The club is raffling a Bergara B14 in 6.5 Creedmoor on a Magpul frame. The rifle will come equipped with a Leupold scope. The raffle details can be found below.
The Wyoming Precision Shooting Club (WPSC) is a University of Wyoming student organization that strives to teach safe firearm practices to the UW student body and instruct students on the sport of precision shooting. The club also competes in matches in Wyoming and surrounding states. Founded in 2016, the club has accrued sponsorships from the National Rifle Association of America (NRA), Magpul Industries, Hornady Manufacturing Inc., and Leupold Optics. WPSC has also maintained a partnership with Gold Spur Outfitters, a local Laramie, WY, business.
WPSC holds weekly classroom sessions where students are instructed on topics ranging from beginner topics such as firearm safety and maintenance to advanced topics like calculating bullet drop at various grains. Later in the week, the club will meet at the range to put classroom topics into practice. WPSC works to keep club membership completely free while still offering club-owned firearms and ammunition for its members to use at the range.
