In May, the FRC hosted a webinar in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.
Our partners at the Wyoming Department of Health and Cheyenne Office of Veterans Affairs presented on secure firearms storage. Wyoming has one of the highest rates of death by suicide in the United States. This presentation discussed stigmas related to firearms ownership and mental health, as well as ways that individuals can store their guns during times of crisis. Additionally, it addressed the logistics for federal firearms license holders to temporarily store firearms for those who need it.
