The Firearms Research Center recently hosted an informational session featuring FRC Executive Director Ashley Hlebinsky, FRC Director George A. Mocsary, and special guest Professor Jody Madeira to discuss “Armed with Knowledge,” our new nonpartisan Second Amendment education initiative supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
In this session, Ashley Hlebinsky reviewed plans for the initiative’s educational resources and program including a primary source historical law database, scholarly debates, educational webinar series, and in-person conference.
In addition, FRC Director George A. Mocsary, who was joined by Professor Jody Madeira, provided a preview discussion on the program’s webinar series. The two scholars engaged in a conversation about the individual right versus collective right interpretations of the Second Amendment.
