Summary: Armed with Knowledge is a national civics education initiative led by the Firearms Research Center that provides educators with scholarly resources and historical context to support informed classroom discussions about the Second Amendment. This online informational session will introduce the goals and structure of the program, outline the educational materials being developed, and provide an overview of the timeline for future content, including webinars, videos, and digital resources. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear directly from program leaders about how the initiative can support educators in teaching complex constitutional topics and encourage thoughtful, balanced engagement with Second Amendment history and law.
