ASHLEY HLEBINSKY
Senior FellowOne of the foremost authorities on firearms history and material culture in the United States. For a decade, she was Curator in charge of one of the largest firearms museums in the country and served as Project Director on the museum’s full-scale multimillion dollar renovation. Presently, Hlebinsky serves as a museum consultant, speaker, writer, expert witness, and television host and producer.
DAVID B. KOPEL
Senior FellowA professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He is a coauthor with Mocsary of Firearms Law and the Second Amendment. Kopel has written more than 100 law review articles and a dozen books on the Second Amendment. His work has been cited by five U.S. Supreme Court justices and dozens of state supreme courts and federal appellate courts. Kopel has written and been quoted in over a thousand newspaper and magazine articles.
ALEXANDER ADAMS
FellowA policy analyst with a background in statistical methods and econometrics, he has an interest in the criminological impacts of gun control legislation. Adams has analyzed and written on the impact of various firearms regulations, including the impact of constitutional carry-on homicide rates, stand your ground laws, and extreme risk protection orders.
TAYLOR ENGUM
Graduate Assistant and ResearcherTaylor Engum has lived in Wyoming since 2005. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2010 with a B.S. in Agriculture Business. Taylor has owned and worked for several startup businesses in Wyoming. Taylor is pursuing an MBA in the College of Business and is working as a Graduate Assistant Researcher for the Firearms Research Center and the College of Business.
